Resident incentive: Incentives are available to residents of Alberta to learn new skills and develop their technical capacity across a variety of subjects in energy efficiency. Alberta residents attending RER Energy Inc. RETScreen Expert and INTEGRATION courses will receive up to 20% off, with the incentive being applied directly at the time of course registration.
E Pro Network incentive: An additional incentive of up to 10% off RETScreen Expert and INTEGRATION courses may be available to participants from organizations belonging to the E Pro Network. The incentive is applied directly at the time of course registration. Email epro@efficiencyalberta.ca for details or to obtain your E Pro discount code.
EXPLORE subsidy: Energy Efficiency Alberta provided a grant covering some of the cost of developing Data Mining and Machine Learning (EXPLORE) course materials, thus allowing this course to be offered at a substantially reduced price. This subsidy is reflected directly in the low cost of the course.
Ontario
RETScreen training incentive: The
Save on Energy Training and Support incentive covers up to 50% of course fees, to a maximum of $900, for eligible participants of RER Energy RETScreen courses. Incentives are received directly from Save on Energy upon the completion of an eligible training session. To be eligible for the incentives, the participant must be currently employed with accountability for, or providing services for, energy management or building operations in commercial, institutional or industrial facilities in Ontario.
Note: if your organization contracts RER Energy to provide RETScreen Expert training to its employees, the incentive for all eligible employees can be paid to the organization, making for very affordable professional development.
RETScreen software incentive: For a limited time, participants attending a 2- or 3-day training course may receive from Save on Energy a free one-year subscription to RETScreen Expert Professional mode, worth $982. To be eligible to receive a free one-year subscription, the participant and/or the participant's organization must be new subscribers to RETScreen Expert Professional mode and have not previously received or paid for a one-year subscription.
